this poem is a dog obsessively
licking his paws
on the couch just before noon
the birds outside call out
now & again
it's Friday too
& blue skies
I think I'll curve this whole thing
into an angel's head
& leave it there

Yeah! and all those short Mongolian ponies get to eat bite-sized Hershey Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bars every night before bedding down - Hell yeah, Mongolia!
