daydreaming on the roof
how to optimize myself,
tune up the old engine
make it purr like a pampered persian

I want to go caving
in the mines of time
hit a buried geyser of truth
that shoots up to the looming stalactites

then mists down on my tired shoulders,
I want to digest the arcane wisdom
that never comes from a book
masticate it until it can easily be swallowed

I want to fire up the antenna tower
get ready to receive the milky way
I want to feel the northern lights
penetrate my skin

I want to be slapped by a southern cross
to the cheek so my teeth rattle
awaken me
like no alarm clock can ever do

I know that I am not alone,
I want to emulate a very good ventriloquist
have meaningful conversations
without moving my lips
