little black ants

Post by the mingo »

day's blues so deep
ya can't see thru
ants in the sugar
little ants in the sugar
people pushing buttons
things goin to happening
bullets racked
bombs stacked
just waiting for the go
line 'em up
shoot 'em down
can't nobody just sit
without somebody coming long
and say to get up
just get up
move along
pity poor Jesus these days
if he just wanted to sit
lots of folks here to tell him
move along just move along
day's so blue
ya can't see thru
ants in the sugar
little black ants in the sugar
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

i see the style emerging- but the hook was dry and couldnt be swallowed- lil black ants-
marching step by step thru their blues that wear no shoes= the clues that the blues were in fact
just jacked
because really- it took a tow to bring that old cadallaic out to lunch
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Dig your ants and the sugar. Your pump that poetry like a sax in Snug Harbor midnight.
