even waking up
an exercise in courage
to check morning news

quiet prayer

may sanity find a homeward path
one day soon

overcast afternoon @ 4
screwdriver plops down in front
she always knows

my drink wired
3/4 vodka & splash of o.j.
the night commences

one time i saw
d.c. on fire, smoking
against blue desire

morning haiku sunday
police conversing, radios on
great voices, so adamant

(the voices in this part of usa are a unique blend of dialects that still change every 50 miles or so....)
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....
