Getting chilly here, too. I'm sooooo NOT a winter person. But I'll make it through. I'll write or paint my way through.

I also liked how you personified winter and gave him a "cold personality."

I'm from the Midwest. We are a bit past our autumn peak but many of the trees are still alive and spewing their colors. They do "sigh"…and now I know I'm not crazy. Other folks hear it too.

our fall here is almost over. It saddens me to see it go. At least dreams will bring it back to life. Times will reveal the life that's renewed; all seasons they must come and they must go always leaving a memoir in our hearts and souls.
