timing

Post by justwalt »

peace...
paradise...
I've kissed you both goodbye,
forty or more years ago...
I'd say,

I'm just talkin' worldly peace,
not that of my own private stash...
is it a concept... a process or what,
what's the matter,
order can come from chaos

timing...
that's the puzzle piece,
gotta fit or else,
or else something,
all of this or nothing,
all the same

honestly thinking...
(on second thought),
you know what I mean,

peace

I like the lines

"timing...
that's the puzzle piece,
gotta fit or else,
or else something."

Intriguing. 8)

the growing gap between the haves and the have nots will thwart any hope for peace...and the fat cats never ever give it back on their on, as a matter of fact, they seem to ramp it up...call for the destruction of any social safety nets...aging in america is a frightening proposition....i continue to cling to hope, because i have children, and a grandchild

thankx fuchsia and sawman...

just the process of moving toward peace would take
several generations of serious hard work.
plenty of spilled blood as well.

peace is not profitable... therefore, it would be quite a battle
from the start to turn any bit of what we have now into something
resembling peace.

there is only one way to change anything on this planet,
and that is to change the self. try telling several billion people
that they need to change themselves... radically...
yeah right.

I have a couple thousand days left here before I part ways
with this living gig...
will work till then, (filling the days with things to do), that's all.
and hope... you see, when there is no need for that hope,
then... you'll know things are right.

but I don't see the point, hoping really means waiting
for some future happening,
trouble is... there are no future happenings
waiting to happen...

nothing happens until it's made to happen,
which just happens to be now.
