the whole enchilada

if I write this poem
with total honesty
I must be prepared
that you may know me,
so the big question is
do I really want the whole world
to come inside my fragility,
might I horrify
your sense of taste,
can you handle
the whole enchilada ?
'cause I mean to tell you
it's a substantial meal
and I wouldn't want you to
puke your guts all over my new shoes

I'm a hearty eater, I could probably handle it! Lol
And above me the stars align
But not yet with my own
And the night birds sing
Whilst the demon haunts this restless soul.
