Grateful

I don't remember if I posted this one here, either. I wrote it in June. I've written at least three dozen love poems since December 15th. Yeah, yeah, I know... love is a trite theme but hey, whatever. Here's the poem, anyway.

I am wealthy with love,
an abundance of sun shone
from above and below and
in the middle of a heart,
not just parts but a full start
head-on collision.

I am in revision,
dividing myself within myself,
the health of a joint venture
nurturing me. I was asleep
and now my eyes are open.
I can see him looking within
me like a mystery may
be solved.

This is a powerful revolution.
The earth rotates, the sun comes up,
the moon rises, the tides revise themselves
until swells of emotion collide and music
becomes love, personalized, solved,
each of us equal signs on the other side
of an equation.

I am wealthy with love.
I am grateful for the relation.

counting your blessings for lack of a better identifier, seems very important to me in the quest for contentment....acknowledging the good gives you perspective not achieved by taking all of it for granted....especially fond of 3rd stanza
