facing the sea
from a wide beach
an empty chair

an empty dress
hanging from
the back of it

moving in
the wind

a woman walking
sand between her toes
the waves tempt

her resolve
he smiles at her reluctance
the ocean is cold

a ship is so tiny
it steams the horizon
