Hoot from the Nano-Blaster ( in defense of Han-Shan)

Post by the mingo »

I remember the days when I was a genius
it were good times -
these days I am the salt stain
showing itself on the sides of a cement bridge
testament of winter past
these are good times too
I rate a grave in Arlington also
but have no wish to be buried there
besides, I ain't found
the last line yet
and when I do
I may sit on it awhile
just to be clever
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

seas of broken white
teeh swale across
alrintons last bugle

normally not reserved for the battle of the bulge
rubbing buddah's belly
lucklessly luckless

sweat residue skinning a daily grind
sweet breads beading
just mumble pie
.homesick. but homeless.
