the country has never been more polarized....if you ignore the electoral college....we are literally split right down the middle....and without a lot of hyperbole needed....in other words if we just look at the facts....we now no it's ok with half the population to brag about groping pussies....it's ok to be misogynistic, racist, xenophobic, a tax evader etc. etc. etc. etc. for half the population....folks can draw their own conclusions about competency and decency based on what we know to be true...it feels like civil war is next....I for one will take my ragged ass to the streets to fight for health care for all....among other things....we can no longer spectate ...as soon as the shit begins to hit the fan, we need to say No...loudly and emphatically....this is a turning point ....

I haven't been listening to the news about hate crimes. I know about the demonstrations and the idiots who are destroying property. That's real, that's not staged. I wish they'd quit destroying property and acting like assholes.

What hate crimes have happened?

Basically, the "White Power" movement, or at least its "sympathizers," adopted (and modified) some of Trump's sloganeering, and things like "Make America White Again" have been spray painted in various places, including schools, with swastikas and the whole ugly thing. Muslim students have had knives pulled on them, or have been robbed in a few cases.

I just hope it doesn't escalate.
