My lab does the same. I asked the vet if something was missing from his diet - he said dogs can't always digest efficiently enough to extract all the nutrients, so they sometimes have to eat it again. It's normal behavior, so if he does it off-leash, I look away - but not when he's leashed. Yuck.the mingo wrote:today trying to eat
