I have taken the spots
others have warmed up
/ then vacated
today I have been told
when I got out of bed
- the dog changed his position
and took :my spot.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Mine does that too. He'll take it a step further: he'll jump down & stand by the door like he needs to go out. When I get up to put on robe & slippers, he jumps back up onto the warm spot. He's no fool. Can't say the same for me.
