Days gone by

Trying to pry Lisa out of the hot tub at 4 in the morning
So whacked on cocaine and 151- rum and coke
I just couldn’t take it anymore
My crazy family
All of us stealing Valium from grandpa
And going to the dealer down the street
Before eating turkey
Dad passed out in the potatoes
The rest of us “ not hungry “
Holidays
Mmmm
So now that everyone is in some degree of recovery
It’s even more awkward
Because sometimes they get a bit over the top
Preaching and fanatic ideas about everything
Under the sun
I guess we are trying to make up for lost time as assholes
