the illustrious faults of the fool

Post by mtmynd »

stop it now! stop that staring
you know it's not right or even
possible to see thru concrete...

who do you think you are,
some kinda superhero with
a cape that’ll make you invisible,

with eyes that pierce to the essence
all things within their focus? boo-shit.
not a chance. not even close, fool.

fools to the left of me
jokers to the right
here i am
stuck in the middle with you

could describe many situations...certainly the political climate comes to mind
the death of empathy is the birth of barbarism

For sure a bit of Zimmie in that, but leaning towards the crooked pols where many a man found themselves tied tight,
belief in their delusion of super ones, stain proof and pure.

fools rush in
I can't see through concrete hells bells I can hardly see through a windshield

but us geezers thrive on broken hearts and insults

sure would like to put an emoticon here
to make my words my meaning clear

Even though I have become an old fool, even so I am forever young

maybe I can say it better in busted ku
He is still a kid
giving it all away
and he stopped buying green bananas

It's a trick question, don't answer! The fool has no faults, right?
