no electricity this morning
the coleman lantern lights my fantasy
no computer, no tv, no radio
not enough good light to paint
but here on the sun-porch
even on this drizzly beginning
I can write myself
like a ship listing to starboard
I am compelled
to accept....my power
has nothing to do with electricity
