my lovely quarantine

Post by sonofthesun »

Has me lost in now
"What time is it?"
Sorry.
Don't even know if
tomorrow was yesterday.

Dream with me.
There is no empty space

the rat race
replaced by snails
running to the mall
is now sitting reading a book
perhaps we could have always done that
but the ads kept saying 5G
the death of empathy is the birth of barbarism

The day starts out
With the rain drops
Of solo art and the other half
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

the book is written
as the crow sounds
its me its you
us and them
upon each raindrop
smile on the beauty unfounded

dreams create truth
if you let them
There is no empty space

Thank you for this beast
Wrestling the dragon to the ground
Releasing its talons

Yesterday’s hawk ripped a chicken head off
My friend decided to cook it
Was happy he did not have to behead it
