2020 haiku adventures

her first bicycle
new challenge for little feet
distant audience

flashback memories
past haiku show timelessness
moments to ponder

two ants on my counter
one disappears
beneath the cutting board

lockdown
I cut the forelocks
that hang in my eyes

overnight
the trees have gone from
brown to green

a little logic
wider ripples of concern
may we all be safe

love can know no bounds
each breath refreshes that within
all is god children

infinity calls
as the stars shift fantastic
we are one in name

distant illusion
here as there is all the same
a mirrored reflection

somewhere near my heart
cheeks await grandma kisses
lips ready, set

summer morning sounds
new soprano baby birds 
backdrop for haiku

[judih]

digital heroes
those who remain jubilant
with or without screens

[judih]

booms in the distance
headlines far from uplifting
gaze on purple blooms

birds brighter
coffee more delicious
my heart refilled

[judih]

tripod set to go
subject without focus
no selfie today

lightning & thunder @ dawn
I opened the porch door
to better hear the rain

late spring light shows
and crashing cymbals
like rare mingo experience

1969...i'm the skinny one in the scullery

this morning on the back sunporch

where did that 50 years go ?
