To quote an often used refrain in the 60's - "America... love it or leave it."

I can say I never met anyone that left the country despite the turbulence of the times.

Why?

America makes great music. America offered strangers to our lands far better lives than they had.

America has Universities that foreign students pay dearly to attend.

America was the first and still only country to step on the Moon,

America is not perfect, thank gawd. We still have a future to make.

I need not site the negatives here... we all have our own but we remain.
