no children
no worries
Nieces nephews

Always amazed me
that babies are born during famines
women and children why I do this
I call this the haiku that gotaway

loop of songs with click of keys
my story in dreams

song comes around
8-year cycle of sadness
useless to resist

art instead of life
dreams suggest this solution
as i paint the night

it calls oh so loud
its life its art intertwined
my knowledge needs help

beauty of each thought
ein sof on your fingertips
infinity says hello

night's hidden hours
somewhere a stash of sleeptime
ready for pick-up

all around the world
certain households light candles
zoomed and instagrammed

awake to darkness
window opens to silence
this cold saturday

during pandemics
mind reaches out to voices
time space no matter

no new suggestions
let’s continue to explore
