Ra

Post by saw »

sometimes when things are frozen
it's best to let the sun do all the work
why chip away at enamel discomfort
that resists like a drunken mule

when sweet talkin will work just fine.....
why chisel away with tired muscles, events
torn by years of abuse when we have a friend
in a high place

time abates the winters of torment
below the frigid skies that hang like icicles
that place that never feels resolved
good things may not always come to those that wait

find solace in the warmth from above
the death of empathy is the birth of barbarism

it's a philosophy I apply to washing dishes, too - put 'em in the sink to soak overnight. Let Time do the work!

I always thought
redemption was a given

30 years from anything

we are like clocks struck dumb
a harsh and bitter chord that
sends it's ripple down
tomorrow's spine

we are like her friends
a portrait of enchanted
intentions

past like rivers
hold forever
spellbound
