I was 19, & still get emotional when I hear Armstrong say "Picking up some dust" and later, "Big shadow!" That's when it became real for me. I recorded the audio of the event off the TV, from PDI to liftoff & docking with the command module. I think I still have that tape somewhere, but even if it's still playable, I've got nothing to play it on. Enter YouTube.....
