these are incredible! If you have a tripod, you could try shooting a time-lapse series, maybe 60 sec apart...

as spectacular as sunsets are, they just don't instill in me the same awe that a sunrise does - maybe it's like an actor taking the stage vs exiting.....

Judih, I've got a short clip of the sun rising over a nearby lake, but I can't seem to upload it here because of its format. I've tried WMV, AVI, MOV, & MP4 - the S8 editor doesn't like any of them. YouTube won't let me upload it because of a copyright issue with the music; and I can't edit the music out because the slide show package is one I lost this spring when my computer crashed, & I haven't replaced it yet.
