magnificent mosquito

some enterprising mosquito
bit me on the ear
the only spot I apparently omitted
with my Protection Package

He never gave up
just kept on flitting despite the aroma
of citronella and
essential oils of cedar and lemongrass

Yes...he was determined and perhaps
the breadwinner in his teensy family
Who Knows
but, he was successful

he risked death by swatting
just to have a little taste
of an old man's blood,... I guess
you gotta take what you can get
