There is no paradise,
no matter the plot, and I
thought there was a plot.
I thought Maui might be
paradise, but it wasn't.
I remember Maui
from many years ago,
but now it's gone.

tragic...I was in Maui exactly 20 years ago...and I did believe that was the closest I've been to a conception of paradise

It is not gone- there is going to be amazing community and lots of p rebuilding- many losses - yes- but really- aloha lives on
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
