What makes humans hate in ways that no other species does? Perhaps having a mind that knows good and evil is a curse. I try to have compassion for all sentient beings but this is hard.

Thanx Doreen for the NY TImes article....I hope more info will filter thru the site here......the Hate is beyond comprehension......how do you recruit adults to kill children, and the folks responsible with keeping them safe......How do you get a mind to crossover to barbarism, with no regard for peaceful souls that nothing to do with their grievances ?....how can a mind become OK with this ?......Thanx for all the contributions to the story unfolding.....

It's not that hard to inspire this kind of perverse violence. We've been doing it for centuries. All you need to do is demonize the "enemy". Portray them as less than human. Convince your audience that they're vermin, worthy not only of extermination but in the most extreme way possible. They deserve, not just to die, but to die painfully, because, well, you know. They just do. I read it online. The propaganda tells us so. Our god says so, and our god can beat up their god. It's in all of us, and just takes the right buttons to activate it. We wage war because chimpanzees do, and we're running the same software.

We've built machines that have carried a few of us to the moon, we've built robots that have left the solar system, hell, I've got manufactured parts inside my body enabling me to walk - but we're still just animals. I've never inflicted the level of cruelty we're witnessing now, but more than once I've been angry enough to fantasize about it. The buttons are there, they just haven't all been pushed. I hope they never are.

This is judih's daughter Iris' last post.....she has made this public......I contacted her thru FB Messenger and she said she would update me with anything new.....she hasn't given up...she maintains, They are Missing.....

I've seen pics of it. They've made an entire peaceful community without a home. It took decades to build a community that wanted nothing but peace.
