Been day dreaming my whole life
Making stories of alternate lives
Who are these people I create?
Hope for myself while meandering?
Or is it just us,
trying to escape?
The rules, the impossible we are told just is

so many of the institutions
so many of the systems
so much of the indoctrination
has fallen apart in my mind

As simple as it was as a child
It’s not so different as an adult
We just make up things for worry
Enjoyment supposedly takes more
As some might need a freak off
I’m pretty sure we just need love
And acceptance
