In the Beginning

In the beginning it was
echoes of rock and air,
most importantly the air,
so people writing Bibles
could at least breathe.

In the beginning was the
big bang like a pipe burst,
the most fearsome event
in the universe, yet it didn't
stop us from surviving.

I love this. The first stanza made me laugh!

The second one is humorous too.

Ha. I intended for this to be longer, but I kinda ran outta gas and told myself "well, I'll come back and finish it later," and then I forgot about it. Thanks Doreen.

Maybe the last time I wrote anything when I felt any sort of twinge of optimism/silly humor. Then the great darkness came a few days later. Well, I think at this point, I'll just try to turn my back on it as much as possible. Life goes on.
