Why We Will Someday Walk on Mars

Post by the mingo »

I saw you in the park. I wanted to talk to you,
obvious reasons prevented that.
I hope that chance
finds us again soon.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

chance
always hovers
in wait
I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing than teach 10,000 stars how not to dance.

fate lingers
like her perfume
the mind craves more
the death of empathy is the birth of barbarism
