In My Little "Liberal Bubble"

Post by mnaz »

In my little "Liberal Bubble"
I once imagined the best
of human nature winning.

What I got instead was
greed and Bible verses
and finger pointing.

My dear sister accused me last year of being in a "liberal bubble." That is hard for me to take, mostly because I don't know what it means. Can anyone help me on this? And don't reply with the usual complaints about "welfare queens" and crime in general.

at least your bubble is clear and you can see outside of it. magas are inside a mirrored bubble and all they can see are themselves.
I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing than teach 10,000 stars how not to dance.

I think she might be in her own "bubble" as well. We're not talking right now, not as long as she is accusing me of "TDS."

Because of her connection to MAGA, that’s what she’s taught to tell you. They can’t do critical thinking anymore!

I’m sorry.

You don’t have “Trump derangement syndrome” bc there’s no such thing!

Anyway sorry you’re dealing with this,

But that's the weird part. She's not a red hat wearer. She's always been a life long liberal sort of person, and now she's pissing on that and accusing me of "TDS." WTF?

Maybe I'm just a "snowflake."

Ohhh… I assumed she was a MAGA. My apologies. I shouldn’t have assumed that. I don’t know, Mark. Maybe have a talk with her about it. I wish you all the best!!!

Thanks Doreen. We're not talking right now. If an all-purpose, catch-all completely dismissive putdown is her idea of something worth tossing into a discussion, then I think taking a break is the right call. For the time being

Ohh I see. I’m so sorry, Mark. I’m hope it’s only a short break. Sending positive vibes.

Sorry for working thru this on what is supposed to be a poetry board. I personally hate that the liberal ethic or pov has been trending toward dead since Reagan. The issue of crime has been, in particular, a problem, the message being "why would you vote for a party/politician who keeps releasing repeat offenders?"
