writer's block

Post by saw »

as a relatively modern man
I feel extremely fortunate
not having to etch my complaints
into a chunk of granite with a stone axe
that must have taken the fun out of legacy

and it's hard for me to picture an image
of a hairy man in animal skins
scratching his thick skull
as he stared at a blank mountain
with month-long writer's block

just sayin'
it's important
to acknowledge
the little things
the death of empathy is the birth of barbarism

I’d never write a thing lol . Typing in a keyboard is hard enough work.

I could not agree more

Indeed, if I lived in the stone age I probably wouldn't have written much. I totally agree with your well articulated poem.
