Blanket Statement

you jolt me
you bolt me
you dont'
revolt me

patter-pit-pat-pat
you is where it's at,
you and your smile -
i listen to it
as i look into those
baby greens
holding the answer
to another night
on the high horse
along fantasy's path

i wonder thru
possibilities
unfolding like
blankets on the beach
watching the sunset -
eastern love, baby

why be a lone thread
when i can be woven
into your life?
