nice, but I was looking for some shots of the water front, that loney pylon.
I been snake bit with images lately, two computers up and running and can't get the drivers for hardware, camera, scanner etc. Found a picture today, of the last sloop I ever owned. Two years and never got it in the water. Only way to get any use out of a rag boat is to keep it in the water. Too much rigging for me to deal with.
anyway I sure wish I could get some pics up. oh woe is me.
morning glories and tomatoes, july and no blossoms yet, leaves as big as an elephant's ear (Indian not African). Yeah I can hardly wait to see some more boat pics, I got one somewhere of a cheasepeake bay sharpie I got a lot of use out of that one. Kept it in a little marina on the severn up stream from the Naval Accademy. Nice sail down to Annapolis. Tie up at one of those publick docks with the parking meters. Walk the streets. No roller reefing on that sharpie, wood twenty three feet at the water line, narrow beam, pointed stern like a 1949 Studebaker, club footed jib was so easy. but I had to tie off reef points in a fresh breeze. She creaked so much I would get spooked.. steel centerboard but I still wimped out and reefed. I think I just reefed because it looked so kool
third edit I think
I like the one of waterlily and the one of the barn!!!! How long will they be on display???? Good to see you got reconized SD!!!!

Hey Dave. I have the display case for the whole month of July. I could change my theme during that month, I have the photos but more frames could be a problem. I've bought up all the frames in the county. There just ain't no more. Cheep ones that is.
Heck, come on down. I figure you're about 800 or so miles away, it shouldn't take long. I'll keep the light on.
By the way, every photo in that case has been posted here some where.
You can join there and upload your photos to offer to people to use professionally. You won't get paid but you can request people let you know when they use your work and this could aid in building a portfolio of your photography used professionally. Just an idea, if you're interested.
I use photos from the site all the time for professional pieces for the companies I work for.
Yes Jim, it is at the library. I figure thousands of people will see my photos over the next 30 days.
The night I set up the display the Gloucester Art Association was supposed to meet at the library. Being the day after the 4th they canceled however this lady (Harriet) didn't get the notice and showed up anyways. She was my first viewer and is also an artist, a portriat painter. And let me tell you she was a work of art. Quite interesting.
Thanks for the eye candy, doctors my eyes. I finally got my camera up, but no boat pictures until I get the scanner up. maybe next week. this one is of a morning glory plant grabbing hold of my neighbor's cactus. The little seed pack said they are vigorous climbers, but I had no idea.
