the Godfather II is not a foriegn film

Post by Doreen Peri »

"The Godfather II" is not a foriegn film. But the problem is that there's no way to watch it because no multi-tasking is allowed. I mean, they're speaking Italian so often with subtitles, how's a person supposed to follow the story without actually WATCHING it? You can't paint at the same time. You can't surf the net at the same time. You can't talk to your friend on the phone at the same time. It's impossible. Which is why I'm not a big fan of foriegn films.

;) ;)

hehe ... I was just trying to be funny.

See, last night LR was watching the Godfather 2 and I'd never seen it and I was trying to listen to it and follow what was going on in the movie while I was doing other things. Wish I knew Italian but I only know what Italian phrase and it's not suitable for publishing. ;)

No, I'm not Italian. My ex-husband was Italian and I so I have an Italian last name (Peri being the abbreviated version which I've used since the demise of our marriage because I like the name Peri and because I want nothing to do with his name. :) )

My heritage is a combination of Lebanese/Greek/& English/Irish.

I do enjoy foriegn films, really ....

The most recent foriegn film I watched was "Amelie"

If you haven't seen this film, do yourself a favor and rent it. It's fabulous!

if you can multitask, it's not a film, but a 'movie'.

films require full attention, like any worthwhile art.

except music.
