like a heap
to weigh me down

don't wanna drown;
the time to play
's been like a cup
filled with wild smiles
and scented hay
with swaying seas
and glowing gowns
and sounds so deep

i shut up now
and sneak away

and quietly leap
to sleep.

lipstick smeared
make-up on collar
all for show
