Dear artguy:

I like the division of the panel into two: the upper with the bird and the lower with its object.

You have a strong graphic sense-- an overall strong sense of design.

I hope you are enjoying good painting time, and good workdays over your pictures.

I am fortunate in that I have been working a good deal while my wife is in Ireland doing her research.

I have also received a few illustration commissions and sold a few watercolors.

So it goes with us artists.

I LOVED seeing your post of your show, by the way at the
( Iranian?) lady's gallery.

I was in Toronto once, when they were re-designing the airport-- and I got lost trying to find my connecting flight to Halifax. I was on my way to Annapolis Royal to meet my friend, the Canadian novelist, Janice Keefer:

All best wishes,

You're refferring to the Arta gallery, and yes she is Iranian, although I have learned they prefer being called Persian. They are a wonderful warm people that have a culture seeped in poetry.

That has been the general impression of the Persians I have met-- who also preferred being called "Persian."
