and take us to thier apartment
where they dress in thier more elegant salvation army treasures
for us
we smile after a hot morning at the zoo
where people with strollers have been banging into me all day
beauty is in the polar bears bathing
a new happiness over takes me as i feast my eyes on the peaches
in fred meyers the color as fresh
he comes up behind me and pulls my hair gently and kisses me wet
