you feel it - you swell

vanity is the thing that keeps me down
oops, pride in understanding

a pendulum ride - back and forth
on the way, it's a high
when you get there, it's too late
back you come

a fun-house ride through an obstacle course
Pride sells you a ticket
pride keeps you seat-belted
Pride sends you home
head in hands

Yeah, hope your doing ok. The news, the news…I send hope for everyone’s well being. I don’t know that it’s doing much good but I’ll keep trying.
