Bitter Deep

Post by ~K »

you are
the mess that
I am covered in
hip bitter
deep sweet

I drown
in shallow wells

with expectations
of saving you

from yourself

I am the mess
that you are
covered in

we are liquid sin
a lucid disbelievers
dream of butterflies
& hurricanes

we think
& so we sink
into the echo
like we belong there

That was beautiful
just a comment
don't mean nothing
but thank you both for posting that.

one edit
"missing bricks"
cracks me up
I been thinking about sentence structure that crumbles for want of punctuation. How words bounce around on a text based communtiy.
interests me.
dam I edited and rambled

just say hijack

I am a mess,
part of a larger mess,
and it's always been such a mess.

I had no idea I could use the word 'mess'
in three straight sentences
and feel better at the end.
