My monsters
One real one imagionary
As the sun rises one monster melts with my dreams
The other morphs into a devilish being fueled by alcohol
Relentless in it's persuit to control
It delivers blow after blow
If only it too was made of snow
I am afraid of monsters.
I shy away from mirrors
when I rise from a night
haunt, terrorized by
dreams I cannot shake.
If I look in a mirror
too soon, it would
break.
