ya'll can see a mighty long ways
in contrast to dave's green wisconsin

and my backyard reveries

it's always good to know
that sweeping vistas still exist
out thar somewheres, man

good to know... yes.
it keeps me going (and going)...

as did others way back when... hard to believe people actually built 'proper' towns on these raw slopes, with banks, bars, whorehouses and churches-- it took a little of each to keep the faith in earth-bound precious metal riches, the inexhaustible vein.
