Headache

I've had a headache like the anti-christ all day
and handfuls of analgesics won't take it away
like a rasp on a bar or the wreck of a car
not a narcotic can keep it at bay

it's the headache of hell and inquisition
or a rampant reaction all twisted in fission
I'm a man on a rack in a terror attack
it hurts like the square root of pi or long division.

on a tightening knot a headache depends
like a screw or a poison or a case of the bends
my head's in a vice, let's put it on ice
and sendt me to bed till it mends
