A Nasty Thing

Post by WIREMAN »

(for my mom a survivor who's now caught in a waiting game)
<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v497/ ... oto384.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v497/ ... oto384.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
It's been haunting
my life like a pack
of hell hounds for
too long,
the outcome inevitable
in a world of your
never gonna win,
my candle flickers
tonight as I sit in a
waiting game once
again,
it's been gobbling up
the one's I love,
a nasty thing & all I
can do is hold my
head high up above.

hang on to the memories and the intangible gifts, they can never
be taken from you...my thoughts are with you, Mark
the death of empathy is the birth of barbarism

I'm sorry, Mark. It's a tough thing to watch parents and loved ones suffer. We learn from those things for what its worth...

Keep it together... please.

Mark... my heart goes out to you.

I'm living these days a little closer to the heart.
The physical is such a gift; it can seem so unending.
The ones you love will meet with the years,
and they will tell you stories, of love,
and of hope.
