well she would have lived happily ever after but she heard the calling of the birds, you see. She heard the waves, down there, lapping hard and crashing against rocks. she saw the sun rolling down behind the flat edge of the ocean each night and wondered where it went. she wanted to see the colour of the crashing waves. she wanted to smell the ocean spray, feel it in her face... the cliff face started to hold her almost like a prison, him at her front and the cliff face at her back... all she wanted was to fall and fly, follow the sun and feel the spray.

not so happily ever after. breaks your fucking heart, eh?

it breaks her heart too. she just wanted to be loved. now she's flying in her head, flying in her heart. maybe one day she'll grow wings and say "fuck 'em all" fall where the wind takes her freefall & fly away fly fly
