Arachnoid

Daisies strewn like dreams
Across the cracked earth of my mind.
Apostles of ancient anemones
Aging with grace
Deep in dying reefs of eternity
Where watery wistfulness weighs heavily
Like dissipating dreams
Whose clouds malinger morosely
Meting justice with tentacled trance
Entangling tremulous fingers
In silky cob webs
Sticky strands stretched
In shimmering chandelier lace
Luring lascivious lechers
Into languid legato lapsing
Soul crossing
To softer shore
