West Bound!

We woke at dawn,
and headed out,
with the sun at out backs,
and our eyes to the west.

A band of warriors,
with guitars on our backs,
we head to a sunset,
that hasn't been realized yet.

There are five of us,
each with our demons,
each with our virtues,
each of us running away.

With heavy hearts in our chests,
we continue on towards the west,
leaving both friends and kin,
knowing it's only for the best.
