I have the last two issues of Time Magazine. If you haven't seen them, they are all about each of the National party conventions. The earlier of course being about the Dems and the latter about the Republicans. What makes them great, I think, are the covers. Each one plastered with face of each of the respective party nominees. I couldn't help but remark about the differences. I just want you all to take a sec if you can to look at the different faces and tell me what you see when you look at each of them. Just a brief list, five words each on what comes to mind when you see the covers. I'll put my lists under the respective covers

i am a bit dismayed by obama's comments at the convention about enlarging the war in afghanistan and his hawk-like posture with russia. seems like pragmatic hawktalk to look strong. i don't like politics as usual - makes me wonder. still, as he says, eight is enough. i don't trust any politician - the system corrupts.

Time sides with itself! I agree with you there constantine!!!! Careful Barack don't fall into those same pitfalls that Son Of a Bush fell into the first time around!!!! Hopefully he changes his mind on those two points!!!!

Maybe too reliant on white bread advisors, Biden was a stupid choice.
(I feel kind of dumb about saying that, it is just my opinion iz, I am sure he had good reason for that choice but I wish he had chosen someone without Biden's baggage. Like senator Jim Allen of Virginia a former secretary of the Navy who was against the war from the git go and there must have beeb other women he could have picked besides hillary, maybe that was a concession to her to get her onboard, "if not me than no other woman can take a shot at it. I don't want the competition in 2012 if you loose." Barbara Boxer of California comes to mind, she also was against the war from the git go, she knew then what Hillary says she did not know. )

He does not feel McCain's need to assert his masculinity McCain feels like a dirty joke to me
