even though
my mind fermented
in a matrix
of varnish-like cocktails
and the patina
of my skin was the color
of puked-on cement,
I refused to feel sorry
for my earlier rapture,
but I did vow
to my fairy godmother
that I would never
behave that way again.
She's still laughing
in between newly
developed perpetual hiccups,
ha ha ha ha ha hick, ha ha
hick hick hick, ha ha ha ha ha.

So long as you didn't take the wheel of your Pumpkin Carriage and try to drive yourself home, it's good to tie one on occasionally...besides, that ol' fairy Godmother begins to look pretty good after a few drinks!
