Loose Me!

Post by izeveryboyin »

I am more alive tonight than you'll ever know.
All aglow.
A-lit.
A-lite.
Contrite.
Yet threatened by a less than friendly image of my demise in your eyes.
A flash of blood, gore, screams and nightmares.
Fright stares.
And I am undone again.
I think you have won again.
I don't want to be a victim.
I don't want to see some heartless tag at the end of my toe
I don't want to be a cold case file forgotten in an old filing that refuses to let go.
Erase my death from your callous fingertips...
Erase my cursing from the edge of you moistened lips.
And free me.
Because without your blessing, I will have to fail
I will have to falter and fade
And wade endlessly in some forgotten pool of indecision
I cannot be held back again.
Erase me from your wrinkled sheets all drenched in sweat
Erase me from your deepest, darkest, true regret.
And forget me.
So that I may be as I am now.
Clearer.
Newer.
Fresher...
Better.
Without you.
sometimes I just like to breathe.

Arcadia... Amen!

D... I can only hope that this is not a fluke... but a real live actual reemergence.

I also wade endlessly in some forgotten pool of indecision.
I'm kind of used to it. Kind of.

It goes a long way for a while, then just stops.
I think that's how it was intended
to be!

good stuff and a place most of has probably been, and well, sometimes it's just time to move on, leaving your baggage permanently at the depot...............enjoyed
the death of empathy is the birth of barbarism

Saw i think the best way to stay alive is to keep moving forward. Checking baggage is porbably a good idea as well.

SGRL, Thanks for appreciating the piece. Got a shot glass for me?
