soft flowered silk
embrace before she goes
into her time-zone

memory sprouts
all of the past year
swirls through the present

life is a carousel
painted horses go up and down
I hang on

attention in percussion
old gods, costumes, eyes & hands
until the first drops

fingers poise
wait for signal from brain
emptiness on page

again morning rain
wheat and chamomile
bloom with life

the kettle rumbles
fire and whistling
tell me it's morning

intent on focus
eyes softly gaze downward
gentle withdrawal

the lull of oatmeal
there are blue and black berries
crap, i hoped for eggs

email phone bills
everybody wants to be my baby
take another little piece of my heart

night time wake-up
pause between dramas
free range me time

another dream
two guys at my old job
run with my dog

dark corridors
ancient grimy machines
diamond plate ramps

where have they gone?
my calls answered only
by grim silence

many fine people
under a different roof
same last name

early march
muddy boots drying
by the door

third day, third month
three a.m. pondering
no need for stress
